ABOUT US
Our current senior personnel conceptualised Agrisa Commodities in February 2014.
Diligent planning sourced from previous experience culminated to our launch in September 2014, in a legal entity named Geat Services CC.
We converted the entity to a Company and changed the name to properly reflect our business in September 2015.
AGRISA and ASD are securing its position as a reliable supplier in South Africa and the international market.
It became an integrated facility that produces raw and modified products, having completed its modified starch production facility in parallel with the raw starch capability.

To present like-minded entrepreneurs, which creates an environment conducive for productivity and fulfilment for all staff and counterparties, with a platform and opportunity, within a well-established international trading company, to gain financial freedom that collectively creates a profitable organisation with investments in related infrastructure.

As a start-up entity in October 2014, the experience of our senior personnel coupled with sufficient capital from shareholders, gave us leverage to grow exponentially.
OUR STRENGTHS
INDUSTRY STRENGTH
The agricultural sector’s long term traded volume is characterised by low volatility as “people must eat” and if we experience population growth the consumption should in theory grow in a linear fashion. Eating patterns though may change. The growth in our middle class translates to an increase in animal protein consumption. The majority of our agricultural customers supply to the livestock/poultry markets. We experience similar resilience in the petroleum market as SA still have consumption potential through increase in household disposable income and population growth. Our traded volume enables us to negotiate decent discounts from all the major suppliers.
INDUSTRY CHALLENGES
The major challenge in our industry is low margins. Success is hence based on volumes and cost control. Volumes again demand capital and superior administration to mitigate risk.
OUR RESPONSE
Investigate and pursue avenues that diversify and reduce impact of localised risks such as changing weather patterns, geo-political landscapes etc., and contain risk associated with the trading industry.

Agrisa provides a diverse range of logistic services for the agricultural and mining sector. Our owner-driver fleet has a range of side tippers, tautliners, flat deck link and interlinks suited to a multitude of uses.

AGRISA AND AFRICAN STARCH DERIVITIVES (ASD)
AGRISA Commodities has formed a strategic alliance with a scientist and a manufacturing expert that have establish a company called African Starch Derivatives (ASD). AGRISA capitalised the entire operation and in turn obtained exclusive supply and marketing rights, which is important to provide the customers with a secured supply and competitive payment terms.
ASD FOCUSES PRIMARILY ON:
Manufacturing of starches for the industrial sector
