AGRISA COMMODITIES
Our Story
Our current senior personnel conceptualised Agrisa Commodities in February 2014. Diligent planning sourced from previous experience culminated to our launch in September 2014, in a legal entity named Geat Services CC.
We converted the entity to a Company and changed the name to properly reflect our business in September 2015.
AGRISA and ASD are securing its position as a reliable supplier in South Africa and the international market.
It became an integrated facility that produces raw and modified products, having completed its modified starch production facility in parallel with the raw starch capability.

Our well-established international trading company provides a platform and opportunity for like-minded entrepreneurs, fostering an environment that enhances productivity and fulfilment. This approach aims to achieve financial freedom for all staff and counterparties, while collectively building a profitable organisation with industry related investments.

We are risk averse and hence don’t engage in speculative positions. Our relationships with service providers and financial institutions enable us to supply in and out of season and fix forward prices for suppliers and customers.
Trading Strategy
Our success is determined by the price, quality, and service offered by our team during the supply process. Our horizontal structure dictates involvement from the entire team. Our experienced traders simplified our model to offer daily prices for spot or forward deliveries, sourced from primary producers or intermediaries. We source from the most competitive institution without fear or favor. This translates to a diversified resource network that enable us to transact volume on a back to back basis.

OUR PRODUCTS
Fibre & Grains
AGRISA owes its birth-right to this division and from here we grew organically. Our main product traded is Lucerne, (see product list for extensive range).
Plant Protein
AGRISA Proteins aim to supply quality products, both locally and internationally, at competitive prices.
Coal
As part of a diversification strategy, AGRISA started desks that is not correlated with risks associated with the Agricultural industry.
Feed Additives
This division operates in Feed Additive markets, products not readably available locally. Products includes, miller by products from Africa, bird seeds from any origin, sugar from Brazil for human consumption, etc.
Metals & Minerals
We have executed various successful consignments to China and India. Our initial transactions were concentrated in manganese ore and chrome products.
Nuts
Agrisa Commodities trades in Macadamia and Pecan nuts sourced from Africa. We supply shelled and nut in kernel for our customers. Minimum order quantities are one FCL (20ft).
Logistic Services
Agrisa provides a diverse range of logistic services for the agricultural and mining sector. Our owner-driver fleet has a range of side tippers, tautliners, flat deck link and interlinks suited to a multitude of uses.
